Experience our Argentinean dream

With the Sierras de Córdoba in the background, the Estancia El Colibri – member of the Relais & Châteaux – synthesizes the Argentinean dream of Stéphanie and Raoul Fenestraz. With its dark parquet floors, its colonial style and mottled furniture, this charming hotel is primarily inspired by the Argentinean estancias of the beginning of the prior century. But the call of the great outdoors is omnipresent. Horseback riding, polo lessons or lazing by the pool precede delicious culinary experiences, with the asado – the renowned Argentinean barbeque – as a final flourish…

  • The best of the estancia is the outstanding team of people that collaborate every day to make your experience absolutely outstanding. Leo and Ornella in the Kitchen and Maxi "the Gaucho" who organizes the horseback ridings or Cabalgatas. My wife and I went with our two young Children ages 11 and 8 and they were patient, accommodating and caring. They organized great cooking classes in very short order and our youngest son developed a love for horses that I am sure he will carry for life. I cannot thank you enough. The hotel facilities strike the right balance without being over the top, which we did find truly charming indeed.

  • As other reviewers have said this is a truly outstanding place. Attentive staff with great food and wines. Riding and polo lessons were amazing. Well worth the trip from Cordobo so we highly recommend coming here. It is not cheap but is worth every penny for a special experience. Only problem is that there is too much good food !

  • Wonderful hotel on the countryside with amazing food and excellent service. Our family had beautiful horseback rides around the estancia everyday. The rooms are very spacious and immaculately decorated, as well as the bathrooms. We had the pleasure of meeting the owners, Stephanie and Raoul, who made us feel very much at home. The hotel manager planned our Vigilia de Pascua (Mass before Easter Day) which was beautiful, at a 1600's jesuit church in nearby Santa Catalina.

  • This is an amazing estancia (ranch) just 45 minutes for the Cordoba AR (COR) airport. Cordoba is the second largest city in Argentina, but you're definitely well out in the country. We scheduled our stay (5 nights) to "unwind" from an active hiking/biking trip in the Lakes District in northern Patagonia. We made the right call. The people and service couldn't be better, the location is awesome and the activities are excellent. We've ridden horses every day, under the watchful care of Maxi, our gaucho. The horseback riding is incredible among the pampas, with hills in the distance. Tomorrow we're riding for a picnic along the river.
