Experience our Argentinean dream

With the Sierras de Córdoba in the background, the Estancia El Colibri – member of the Relais & Châteaux – synthesizes the Argentinean dream of Stéphanie and Raoul Fenestraz. With its dark parquet floors, its colonial style and mottled furniture, this charming hotel is primarily inspired by the Argentinean estancias of the beginning of the prior century. But the call of the great outdoors is omnipresent. Horseback riding, polo lessons or lazing by the pool precede delicious culinary experiences, with the asado – the renowned Argentinean barbeque – as a final flourish…

  • Beautiful place! Food fantastic with the best carne asada we had on our trip. Very relaxing, superb service and the owners were delightful. We did wine tasting, rode horses, picnic and really enjoyed ourselves. Great staff of people that didn't miss a thing. Don't miss it...highly recommended.

  • The best of the estancia is the outstanding team of people that collaborate every day to make your experience absolutely outstanding. Leo and Ornella in the Kitchen and Maxi "the Gaucho" who organizes the horseback ridings or Cabalgatas. My wife and I went with our two young Children ages 11 and 8 and they were patient, accommodating and caring. They organized great cooking classes in very short order and our youngest son developed a love for horses that I am sure he will carry for life.

  • As other reviewers have said this is a truly outstanding place. Attentive staff with great food and wines. Riding and polo lessons were amazing. Well worth the trip from Cordobo so we highly recommend coming here. It is not cheap but is worth every penny for a special experience. Only problem is that there is too much good food !

  • This is for us one of the few truly exceptional places in the world, a fabulous experience not to be missed. Nothing negative to report and everything positive is amply described here by other travellers so no need to repeat it. One minor word of advice, if you travel there with your own transport, once you have left Jesus Maria on the road to the Jesuit Church of Santa Catalina (ask, nothing is signposted) don't look for a "Colibri" sign, there is none. As soon as you see a luxurious entry and fence on your right hand side that is it. This certainly has a purpose but which?

  • A truly outstanding experience. The thoughtfulness of the team and quality of their service has significantly raised the bar for future holidays. A stunning place with indulgence at every turn, including a number of the best culinary treats ever tasted. Add to this the beautiful, top calibre horses and you can see why we are recommending it to everyone.
