A WORKING RANCH


In El Colibrí’s orchard and vegetable garden, we grow the fruits, vegetables and herbs that are used to prepare our meals and jams. The vegetables grow surrounded by lively flowers that we cut everyday to decorate our house with their colors and smells.

We raise our cattle, taking good care of their well being and food, so that the meat you enjoy at La Table du Colibrí can be of unique quality and freshness

The hens in the pen provide us with fresh eggs, and Margarita, the milky cow, gives us the fresh milk we drink everyday. We also prepare cream, the traditional Argentine “dulce de leche”, butter and different kinds of cheese from its milk.

The sheep graze in the rural countryside; our visitors can participate in their shearing. And there are also funny Dupont and Dupont, two llamas that stroll on the scrublands, whose names pay tribute to the all time classic cartoon Tintin.
