HORSE PARADISE / Horse Riding

Living the experience of a gaucho rider

In the gaucho tradition, the rider led his herd of tamed horses guided by a “yegua madrina” (lead mare) with a bell around its neck and the horses would gather around it.

In El Colibrí Estancia de Charme we wanted to revive this tradition and we created two “tropillas entabladas” (herd of tamed horses), with overo and tobiano horses, two typical horse breeds of the region.

Our guests can go for a horse ride to live a unique experience, guided by a gaucho rider through the calmness of the mountain landscape. The riding gears that visitors will use are unique pieces, made by twelve different craftsmen.
