It is one of the best rallies of the season. The competition is driven through mountain roads, winding, gravel and tarmac surfaces. Every year a million people participate in this event, having the chance to see world-class cars go by driven by the world’s best pilots.
The event will take place in March.

The classic Paris-Dakar competition was held for the first time in South America in 2009, in its 31st edition. In 2010, the raid will be repeated here, starting in Buenos Aires on January 1st and going through Argentina and Chile from January 2nd to Jan 16th to finish again in Buenos Aires on January 17th.

Every year in January, since 1965, the National Festival of Taming and Folklore is held in the city of Jesús María. The festival takes place among guitars playing native melodies, well-known singers, payadas (improvised musical dialogues), untamed horses and men who challenge their braveness. A true display of the national traditions in their entire splendor, showing the charm of the most deeply rooted customs of the criollo culture.

Created in 2000 – the year when the Camino de las Estancias (the Jesuit trail) was declared World Heritage-, the Festival of Baroque Camino de las Estancias, rescues the baroque repertoire created in Europe and Latin America during three centuries. Concerts are held in several locations that form part of the Camino de las Estancias, in Cordoba City, and in locations of the interior of Cordoba province. The festival had its 8th edition in 2009 featuring national and international solo performers, groups and conductors. Every year the festival takes place during the last week of October and the first of November.
